11. SMS and TEAMS MESSAGING

We may use SMS text messaging and Microsoft Teams phone/SMS functionality as a conversational, person‑to‑person communication channel between our employees and vendors, service providers, and other business contacts for legitimate business purposes, such as order management, operational coordination, project updates, and issue resolution. These communications are not used for consumer marketing, promotional campaigns, or other commercial mass messaging.

In connection with this text messaging service, we collect and process information that you provide or that is generated through your use of the service, including mobile phone numbers, names or identifiers associated with those numbers, message content, and technical metadata (such as date, time, and routing information). We use this information solely to transmit your mobile messages, respond to you, and maintain necessary records of our business communications.

We may share mobile messaging information with platform providers, telecommunications carriers, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages, including Microsoft (for Teams), any integrated SMS gateway, and phone companies. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt‑in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to deliver the service or comply with law.

We use SMS and text messaging for conversational person-to-person communication between vendors, partners, and our employees. The frequency of messages will vary depending on how you use our services and whether you take steps to generate more text messages from us by initiating discussions and engaging in conversations.

This SMS and Teams text messaging section is intended to supplement, and not replace, our general Privacy Policy, which continues to govern the relationship between you and us in other contexts.

If you no longer wish to receive text messages from us in your capacity as a vendor or business contact, you may reply to any text message with “STOP,” “QUIT,” “END,” “REVOKE,” “OPT OUT,” “CANCEL,” or “UNSUBSCRIBE,” where technically supported, or contact us at [insert privacy/contact email or support page] to update your communication preferences or request that we stop using SMS to communicate with you.
